When I arrived at Birtsmorton Court to photograph the wedding of the lovely Fran & Dave last summer, my eyes nearly fell out of my head and my mouth remained open for at least the first two hours (luckily this unflattering state of awe was well hidden behind my camera). Simply put, it is an absolutely stunning and breathtaking and gobsmackingly amazingly beautiful wedding venue. I would quite happily hide in the grounds and photograph everything there for the rest of my life. Big sparkly ‘Wedding Gem’ for this one.
Located near Malvern in Worcestershire, Birtsmorton Court offers fairy-tale weddings in a moated Medieval manor house. Either Church or Civil Wedding Ceremonies are possible. Fran & Dave got married in the elegant calm of the White Garden, outside – Birtsmorton is one of the first places to be granted an outside civil wedding license. It was a hot and sunny July day so this was perfect, and made the event even more unique and special! The guests then mingled on the terrace by the moat, before going into the marquee for the Wedding Breakfast. Birtsmorton Court is surrounded by beautiful grounds and gardens which are a fabulous backdrop for your wedding photographs. I was also particularly excited to find a cornfield just beyond the garden, which gave us a wonderful photo opportunity as the sun was going down!
